Description

The Snakehead peghead was introduced on Gibson A-1 models in 1923 and remained in use through the 1920s. Period A-1 examples are generally built with spruce tops, birch back and sides, mahogany necks, ebony fingerboards, adjustable ebony bridges, and Waverly strip tuners.
