Description

This 2007 Gibson Custom L-5 is a faithful take on one of Gibson's most elaborate archtop designs, finished in a classic Sunburst. The large body, carved spruce top, maple back and sides, and ornate appointments give the instrument the substantial presence expected from an L-5. A pair of humbuckers provides a versatile amplified voice while retaining the warmth and character associated with a large carved-top archtop. The guitar has been refretted, adding a practical update to this otherwise traditional Custom Shop example.
