This 1958 Gibson ES-125 features a beautiful sunburst finish and represents an important part of Gibson's electric archtop history. Originally introduced as part of Gibson's Electric Spanish series, the ES line has become a lasting favorite among players for its distinctive character and sound. The ES-125 was introduced in 1941 as Gibson's entry-level archtop, but it has developed a following all its own. This example is in good condition for its age, showing the typical wear expected of a well-loved 68-year-old instrument. It delivers the warm, woody tone, lively response, and comfortable feel that make these vintage Gibson archtops so enjoyable to play. A wonderful piece of Gibson history with plenty of character and musical personality.
