Description

The factory stoptail is one of the standout details on this 1964 Gibson ES-335 TDC, as this configuration is considerably less common than the Bigsby-equipped examples from the period. The Cherry finish remains exceptionally clean, and the guitar retains its original stoptail and classic pair of Patent Number humbuckers. This setup is also reminiscent of Eric Clapton’s famous 1964 ES-335, which he used extensively during his time with Cream. With its excellent condition and less-common factory configuration, this is a particularly desirable example of the mid-’60s ES-335.
