Description

This 1980 Gibson Super V CES is finished in Sunburst and remains a particularly clean example of Gibson's early-'80s limited-production work. The model's jazz box construction gives it a character all its own, while the Sunburst finish keeps the presentation firmly rooted in Gibson's traditional aesthetic. There is some off-gassing from the pickguard, but otherwise the guitar is exceptionally clean for its age. An uncommon Gibson with a strong combination of originality, condition, and late-'70s/early-'80s character.
