A rare pre-war offering from Martin, this 000-28 is a stunning piece with exceptionally sweet tone. Constructed of the coveted combo of Brazilian rosewood and Adirondack spruce, this guitar has a nice rounded, cloud-like tone that shines with a fingerstyle player and doesn't cower at a flat picker either. The full body has been refinished - there are some cracks and light warping on the back likely due to moisture exposure - and the neck has some spots of localized overspray. Additionally, our in-house repair team performed a compression refret to address some playability issues and a bridge reglue and plate modification to ensure stability. The resulting instrument, while not 100% factory original, is a seldom-found model with unrivaled tone.

Includes vintage hard shell case.
