Description

Albeit refurbished, this D-18 retains all the vintage mojo in both tone and feel. The body has been refinished in gloss, while the neck features a satin finish for a smoother, more comfortable grip.

The neck also appears to have been subtly reshaped to a softer V profile, still filling the hand like the original while offering a more refined, easy-playing feel.

Tonally, it delivers a fat low end, strong and present mids, and shimmering highs, resulting in a powerful and well-balanced voice.

The refinishing work is very clean and does not detract from the instrument’s overall vintage character and vibe.
