In 1969, one of the fanciest Gibson acoustics you could get your hands on was the Dove. Even today, there is something incredibly iconic about the inlaid dove pickguard, dove wing bridge, and cherry sunburst finish. Not only does it have stage presence, it has a very open and responsive sound thanks to the very light weight bracing of the 1960s. This example is in clean condition with a glued top crack and low original frets. The action is as low as the adjustable saddle can permit; it plays comfortably but would benefit from a neck reset for any lower action desired. A maple cap has been added to the bridge plate and the Grover tuners are modern reproductions. Overall, this is an attractive, great sounding guitar, for any Gibson lover!
Comes in late 1960s/ early 70s HSC
