This 1947 Gibson LG-2 features a Sunburst finish and the compact body size that made Gibson’s LG series a popular choice for players looking for a smaller acoustic with plenty of character. The spruce top and mahogany back and sides provide the balanced, woody response associated with this period of Gibson’s flat-top production. The guitar has had a neck reset, bridge reglue, refret, and several structural repairs, including reglued braces and repaired cracks in the B-string area and back. It remains in good vintage condition with heavy finish checking, several dings, and original tuners that are worn but still functional.
Includes vintage chipboard case.
