This 1940 Gibson J-35 in Cherry Burst is a classic pre-war Gibson with a warm, dry, and powerful voice. The guitar has been completely refinished over previous repairs, including eight cleats supporting four top cracks, repairs to both sides of the neck heel with two side braces added, and a lower bout treble-side repair. It has also been refretted and fitted with replacement tuners. Despite its extensive history, the guitar is in good condition and has the unmistakable character and presence of a vintage J-35. A great opportunity to own a genuine pre-war Gibson with a strong, seasoned voice and plenty of personality
