This 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior captures the stripped-down design approach that made the model such a favorite among working musicians through the late 1950s and beyond. With its slab mahogany body, single P-90 pickup, and wraparound bridge design, the Junior delivered a direct, aggressive sound that later found renewed appreciation among players in punk, garage rock, and indie circles decades after its original production run. The Cherry finish has mellowed nicely over time, giving the guitar the broken-in appearance expected from a well-used vintage Gibson.

This example shows honest wear throughout, including several dings, mild finish wear, and a cracked jack plate with two visible fractures. The guitar has also seen a handful of practical maintenance, including a refret performed by our in-house repair team, replacement treble-side tuners (double-line Klusons) from the 1960s, a replacement neck heel button, and one replaced back screw. The original bridge is included in the case, and the instrument retains the lively acoustic response and midrange bite that continue to make vintage Juniors such compelling guitars more than sixty years later.

Includes original Gibson chipboard case.
