This 1968 Gibson Dove is finished in Natural, with the maple back and sides giving the large square-shoulder body a distinctive look. The spruce top and maple construction produce the clear, projecting response that sets the Dove apart from Gibson’s mahogany-bodied flat-tops, while the ornate pickguard and bridge add plenty of visual character. The bridge plate has been plugged and drilled, and the guitar otherwise presents in very good condition. A strong late-’60s example of one of Gibson’s most recognizable jumbo acoustics.
Includes 60s Ess & Ess hard shell case.
