This 2022 Gibson Hummingbird Faded Prototype is a stripped-back take on one of Gibson's best-known acoustic designs, finished in Natural with a lightly aged appearance. The familiar square-shoulder dreadnought body gives it plenty of presence, while the understated finish lets the wood and construction take center stage. As a prototype, it is a particularly interesting example for Gibson acoustic fans. Its traditional appointments and full-size body keep the instrument immediately recognizable while the Faded treatment gives it a more understated look.
